Abstractec's iPhone consultants have been involved from the initial design stages of this application to ensure that the data is presented correctly to the medical practitioner in a clear, precise manner.
Mapex Drum Masterclass
Available for iPhone OS 3.0 powered devices and above, Mapex Drum Masterclass aims to teach drum rudiments to the amateur musician. Combining smooth scrolling stave graphics, MP3 lesson examples, a choice of snare drums with tuning and damping options along with a drill mode to hone the user's drumming skills, Mapex Drum Masterclass is the must have application for any serious drummer.

Abstractec was brought in to finish off this project on a tight deadline after the previous developers were unable to complete the project. The iPhone application interfaces with the back-end server to work out fun milestones for the user and their friends based on their date of birth.
Pay At The Pump
The Pay At The Pump website provides a community-updatable database of petrol stations in the United
Kingdom where the facility to pay for fuel at the pump is offered. We were involved in all areas of this
project from specification through design and finally implementation. The application was created using a
combination of JBoss Seam, EJB3, JBoss AS, HIbernate Search, PostgreSQL, Rich Faces and the mapping
component was provided by the Google Maps API.
In addition to the website component, we were also asked to create an iPhone application to complement the
site that would allow iPhone users to locate pay at the pump services in their local vacinity. To acheive
this we created iPayAtThePump on the iPhone, and this application is available on Apple's App Store.
Once the iPhone application was completed, a similar application was created for the Google Android
platform and this is available on the Google Marketplace.

Abstractec provided consultancy services to Richard Goodall Gallery to allow seamless integreation of their
existing business workflow within the osCommerce e-commerce application chosen for the company's e-commerce
requirements. Our consultants also provided bespoke updates to osCommerce to meet the specific requirements
of the client.
