The Enterprise App Store allows over the air (OTA) deployment and management of internal iOS apps and devices along with management of Android apps.
Administrators can quickly and simply upload and maintain apps and restrict download of the apps to specific groups of users. This allows the user to only see and download the apps that are appropriate to their job function.
Enrolment with the EAS is simple; log in and download a profile. No cables required! If your CEO loses his iPhone while travelling he can buy new one from the local Apple store and then he can get his enterprise or corporate apps back without having to come back intothe office and have them installed using iTunes.
Last, but by no means least, is the ability for administrators to perform device management functions on the devices such as erase passcode, lock device and finally completely wipe the device.
